Top of Utah

This is Sierra after she finished the Top of Utah half marathon.  It really shouldn't be called a half marathon--like it is just a part of a race--it is thirteen long miles of hard work!  She completed it in 1 hour and 48 minutes!  That is an average of 8:15 each mile.  She took 7th in her 14-19 year old age category.  She felt really good about the race except for the fact that the lady that she met on the race and ran with the whole time was 55 years old and kept right up with her.  I am so proud of her!  Jeff was the only one of us to see her cross the finish line.  Bryan didn't realize that we would have to park and walk for 3 blocks to see the finish line so we missed it!
