Hyrum City Independence Day Parade

 We had a large crowd parked in our usual spot on Main Street for the Parade. 

 It is fun to watch the little ones go for the candy.   It was a hot day so the shade was especially nice!

Freedom Run!

Sierra loves this "little" run.  It is 9 miles starting at the power plant up Blacksmith Fork Canyon and ending at Lincoln Elementary.  It is mostly downhill except the steep three blocks up the hill!  She beat her last years time by three minutes and ran it in 1 hour 17 minutes.  Go Sierra! 

Fireworks!

Our new 4th of July tradition is to go to 1400 N and watch the fireworks with the Norman's and the White's.  We have pizza and treats and bring snaps to put in the parking lot for people to run over.  It is easy to get out of town from here so we don't sit in traffic for an hour.  Courney joined us and Sierra joined Jeff's family.

 I love this place!  I could easily live here all summer. 

 Unfortuately, I'd have to live alone.

 This post with a hole in it makes a funny noise in the early summer. 

 I stuck my camera in the hole and they purr looking for their mother to feed them!

They are living in this apartment across the street from the temple--great location!  It is in the basement so it is small, but just right for them. 

Honeymoon Parasailing

The lovebirds went Parasailing at Catalina Island while their cruise ship stopped there.  It looks pretty fun to me!  The bottom picture has their cruise ship in it wth them above it.  Pretty cool!

More Wedding Pictures

 I finally found the camera that I had on the wedding day.  These are at the luncheon at the Riverwoods in Logan.  It was delicious and a pretty place to have it.  They set it all up and took it down and I coud enjoy the family and friends that came to celebrate!

 Complete joy and relief from both sets of parents--our oldest children married!

I went to school with both of these two.  We were in the marching band together.  Byron played an amazing trumpet and Anissa played the oboe and then she was the drum major.

How lucky I am to have good friends raise a beautiful daughter for me to enjoy also!

 These two have been friends for a long time.  It's good to see them married and moving on!

 Kenzie took a lot of these great pictures!  She did a great job and I am glad to have the pictures.

 I loved the flowers that Courtney chose for the Old Rock Church!  They were amazing thanks to Terry James. 

 Courtney picked up these darling lanterns to decorate with and her grandma Buxton sewed the blue and yellow centers.

 These cute little blue pots were hanging outside the Old Rock up the walkway to the door and they were one of my favorite things.

 I had my mom fix us sandwhiches before the reception so that we weren't starving before a long night of meeting and greeting.

 Grandma Marge is, of course, guarding the dessert--cupcakes from Temptation cupcakes in Logan.  We also had Cold Stone ice cream--That was the best part of the whole day!

 This is part of the bride's room--It was beautiful and was a major selling point when choosing a place to have the reception.
