YW in Excellence

Our theme this year was  "What is your Shiney?"  We used lots of yellow and a little pink in our decorations.  Colette and Ginger made each girl a corsage and they turned out amazing--of course!  Each one of the girls spoke.  They are so amazing and even though it makes for a little longer program it is so good to hear how they grow and change each year.  I am so proud to be able to enjoy their company!  I also have the best people to be my counselors and advisors.  They make my job easy!  Thanks girls!

Halloween 2012

I don't dress up very often but this year was a fun costume!

 

 Savanna has Social Dance as a class in school this trimester and the teacher teaches them a dance to Thriller and they perfom it in front of the students.  These are just some of the Zombies.

 This is baby Peyton--the Queen of Hearts!  Nick was the Mad Hatter and Amber was Alice.  They got my vote for the  best costume in the family!

Misty is my new Mia Maid advisor.  She looks like one of the girls!  She is so fun and we are excited to have her join us.

The party was fun as always.  We had soup, donuts, and games for the kids.  The Trick or Treating is always a good way to get more candy than any one kid needs!

Hyrum Dam Scary Run

Audrey, Savanna, and Sammy all helped with the Dam Scary Run.  It was a haunted 1.5 mile run around the Hyrum Marina. They don't look too scary now but I am sure they were pretty scary in the dark!

This is Jeff's last Sunday at home before he heads to the MTC.  He is serving his mission in Korea.  He is such a great kid.  We will miss his quiet humor and sweet personality.  Thanks Jefferson!
