Skip and I are hiding in the trees so the slow cows can pass us.

Alma roped it and then handed me the rope to hold on my horse. This calf weighed around 400 pounds and I can't throw those kind down.
Alma caught another calf. This one just needs doctored.
It was a good day for a ride. We don't drive many up the canyon anymore because of the traffic but we want to be able to continue,so we drive a small bunch every year so we don't lose the right to do it. The feed is adequate for now, but we'll see what happens in the rain department! Pray for rain!
