Savanna had a choir concert on her next-to-the-last day of school. It was so cute. I mean she was so cute.

Seventh grade choir has it's very own sound. The boys can still sing soprano but are so embarrassed by this fact that they choose to sing a low monitone sound.

The girls are giggly and don't dare sing too loud for fear someone will hear them.

I love it! (I'm also glad that I'm not their teacher!)

Kite flying

Savanna and Emily, our neighbor, went to fly a kite. They were not very successful. The kite ended up in a tree, over the wire, and crash landing more than once into the ground--typical Charlie Brown kite flying! They did get it flying long enough for me to get this picture!

My baby turns 13 today! A teenager!

She is so much fun and such a happy kid.

She was born the morning of the Easter Egg Hunt and the other 2 kids had to go to Justin and Shauna's house in the middle of the night so we could go to the hospital! They were not happy that I wasn't there to take them to the hunt. Grandma made sure they got there and got an egg.

Savanna, as a baby, got into more stuff than the other 2 combined. I put locks on cupboards that I had never used before. She would crawl up and climb on everything! Once, she was on top of the fridge, and another time she had crawled from the toilet to the sink and was playing in the soap!

Thankfully, she grew out of this and now loves to be with her friends, make new things, talk to people, cook, not clean, ride horses (short rides) and ride her bike.

Final D. A. day

Today is the final day of Banna's Dairy Ambassador days. She has had a great year and so have I. The other mothers could not have been better to work with. I am so lucky.

We have been putting together the program for try-outs and that has been fun and exhausting. We decided it would be better if they were in for two years, that way you could learn it one year and do a good job the second. But, that is not the way it works.

I will be glad when today is over and it all goes well.

There are 15 girls trying out this year.

There were 19 when Banna tried out last year.

I used ten dozen balloons to decorate the venue. Have you ever tried to put that many balloons in one car?

Well, we put five dozen in two cars. That is still a lot of balloons.

I hope to have some teary eyed photos after it is all done and new girls are picked for a great adventure.
