Last Day of Summer Party

Matt has been an excellent pipe mover all summer with us.  We have had fun teasing him about snakes, watching him throw grasshoppers at Savanna, and wondering how soon he will out-grow us!

We did move pipe before our last day of summer party--It is a tradition too.

We got Golden Jade for lunch and that was delicious!  Sierra ate some of the noodles and that made her happy too!

Sierra had her plates in her mouth adjusted two days before so she didn't party with us this year.

We missed her!

So..Chantel joined us!

We went to the Hyrum Dam and rode jet skis!  It was a blast.  We had so much fun.

Randi taught Savanna how to ride and then Savanna and Chan-Chan spent the next hour zipping around the dam.

I even took a turn driving.  

After dark we lit the sparklers we had saved from the Fourth of July.  We didn't set anything on fire like we did last year so it was much less exciting.  

I am happy and sad on this day.

  I have always sent my kids back to school missing the time we had together all summer and yet it is good to watch them learn and grow each year.  It is nice to be off schedule all summer and sleep a little later and yet it is nice to be back on schedule and enjoy the cooler weather as well.  

Change is the only thing we can count on for sure!
