Yearlings in Pinedale, Wyoming

It's that time of year again when we head to mostly desolate places to ship yearlings.  This trip is to Pinedale, Wyoming--or near Pinedale.  We drove 20 miles on a dirt road to get there.  If you click on this picture you can see that this livestock is not your typical cow with 2 calves. It's not often you see twins like these!  I wish we would have been closer to get a better shot!
The family that owned these cattle drove 3 hours to get here and hauled 8 head of horses to gather them in with.  3 of the riders were under ten years old.  They had good horses that trotted along and babysat.

This is a huge set of corrals.  We drove 500 head into them and there were plenty of empty pens to sort into.  It is cool to see such a good set-up.  Bryan said the only flaw was there wasn't boards or something to protect the guy weighing the cattle from getting splashed on.
