Toni's First Horse Show

This is Toni and Marcy.  Toni is 9 and Marcy is 11--just the right age difference!

 

Dianna helped Toni get ready for her first horse show.  Dianna is an old pro at showing horses and she had Marcy looking pretty--she even had her ears clipped!  One of the classes she was in was a bareback western pleasure.  I can't believe how well the old horse did and even better how Toni could hold on and look so cute!

Marcy is a good sized girl.  She is a big climb for a little girl.  Toni figured out the "knee in the stirrup"  trick and can get on as fast as I can--almost! 

These two pictures are of the Trail class.  Again, Marcy just did her job and made it look easy.

These two pictures are of the Western Pleasure class.  She took the correct lead! 

Marcy holds a tender spot for me because she came from a mare that Sharell had and he so wanted a paint colt.  He got one, but it was a filly, and he didn't keep a filly.  She ended up at my parents place and shortly after to Dianna's.  Sharell would be so proud of the horses looks and the way she moves and  Grandpa Tony will be so proud of the beautiful girl riding her.  It doesn't get any better.

This is Ike and he is so darn cute!  He was having a great time eating snow cones at the fair and playing in the dirt.  He was fun to watch too!
