The 3 troughs
Bryan,Savanna,and I went to the cabin and actually stayed overnight! It was so nice and cool and the bugs weren't too bad either. We got up early and went for a ride to check on the cattle. We sneaked up on about 10 head of elk and their calves. They were playing in the water at the frog pond and eatting around the edges. One little calf elk came up the trail toward us and watched us watching him for a few minutes. After they ran up into the trees and we rode past, we could hear them calling to each other in the trees. It sounded like chirping and it was so cool to hear.
