Alma roped it and then handed me the rope to hold on my horse.  This calf weighed around 400 pounds and I can't throw those kind down.

It was a good day for a ride.  We don't drive many up the canyon anymore because of the traffic but we want to be able to continue,so we drive a small bunch every year so we don't lose the right to do it.  The feed is adequate for now, but we'll see what happens in the rain department!  Pray for rain!

Girls Camp

 Because the youth are all going to Martins Cove in a month, we decided to shorten camp and just have a two day camp.  It was held in the river bottoms at Charlie's.  There were some grumbles but we still sent them home very tired!

She is amazing and despite hating to camp, makes it the best camp the girls have ever had.

 Playing in the river is good motivation to get the certification done.  It had cooled down to 72 degrees while we were there with a breeze so their teeth are chattering!  I can't believe how much they loved playing in the mud!

She and Teresa had a CNA class and came to camp after!  We were glad to have them.

We decorated t-shirts and made little lanterns, had a Value Presentation, enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner, created a hugging chain after testimony meeting, froze to death during the night and woke to frost, embarrassed ourselves, and swam to ourn hearts content--oh ya,and completed all the certification!

 We love the trampoline at Grandpa Reay's house.  It has been well loved and used over the years.  We have yet to get Grandpa on it.

Father's Day

 It was the best nap ever!

  Especially since it was the day after Ragnar!

 After napping, we went to Big Al and Diane's for a lovely dinner.

 We went to Grandpa Reay's to love on him a little.  I am so blessed to have the best dad in my life!

I also was blessed in the husband and father-in-law department too and well, life wouldn't be the same without my crazy fun son.  I am too blessed.

Ragnar 2012

 Once again we were involved in the crazy Wasatch Back Relay!  It is a relay race from Logan to Park City.  Sierra chose to be a team captain again.  We were the Sole Sisters again and the team consisted of mostly high school girls--except this year I got to run!  We had a girl drop out last minute so we picked up a youngster (15 years old).  I only had to run one leg and it was at 1:30 a.m.  Thankfully it was only seven miles down a gentle decline into Henefer.  The longest I had ever run was six miles, so I was a bit nervous about the extra mile, but I made it!

 It was in the 85 degree range while we finished the last legs.  It made for slow times and tired girls.  We would let them run for a couple of blocks and then spray them off with water.

 I took a turn with the water bottle.  I was the driver the rest of the time.  While I was running,  Sierra drove.  I only ran for one hour and she got lost half way through.  She had to call Bryan at 2:00 a.m. and ask for directions how to get back!  Everyone was amazed that he knew exactly how to get to Henefer.  Thankfully, he spent a lot of time shipping cattle there and knew his way around!

 Chantel had to run one of the toughest legs in the whole relay--the Ragnar hill over Guardsman pass.  She was amazing and plowed her way up the 4 mile 8% grade hill!

 Katelyn was our speedster!  She averaged 8 minutes on every mile she ran!
