Twins

Bryan is helping(?) the other one out of the warmer.

A little milk to help warm them.

We were fortunate to get another set of twins.  This makes 3 live sets this year!  They can be a blessing and a curse.  We would prefer one regular sized calf to two small ones but live is better than not!  These two happened to be born in one of the only snow storms of the spring.  We gathered them up in the pick-up and brought them home to the warmer.  After 4 hours they were toasty so we took one back to the cow,who as waiting patiently right where we stole them from, and the other went to my dad's to get a goat mother and wait to be grafted onto another cow.  She only waited about a week before we needed her for a cow that had one born dead from Malta, Idaho. 
Courtney came to see the calves.  It was the first time in her 20 years she had ever petted a calf.  Poor kid!
