This cute baby was carrying his leg the other day when we were feeding. We put him in the pick-up and took him to the vet. He had broken his leg so the vet put a cast on it and sent us on our way. Usually we would get the cow and calf to the shed so we could watch them closer, but because the river is so high, we had to just turn him out. It will take about 5 weeks for the bone to heal and then the calf will have to go back to the vet to have it removed.
