Savanna played in a tennis tourney at the Rec. Center in Logan.  I got some great shots--which is rare so here they are!

It wasn't her best day of playing she lost by 2 bagles--6-0, 6-0

But she sure looks cute out there!

Young Women Hike...walk

We are having Stake Camp this year so the leaders ask us to go for a hike as a ward so we chose to walk around Mantua Lake.  It was good to get out and walk--not hike around.  It took us a couple of hours to walk the 4-plus miles and we all made it!
back row:  Lexie, Emily J., Mandie J., Colette, Amanda (camp director)
Savanna, Emily W., Brook W., Katelyn ,  Bonnie
Hollie, Brook M., Chelsie, Emily M., Mady M., Kiersten
Abigail, Brindie
It was hard to think we had to go without Sherleen but Amanda is an amazing person and has done such a good job--I am so thankful for her!

I love it when the calves think they are hiding in the trees and I won't see them.
Hank's ears are perked and he sees them too!

Going through the gate into Selman's

Jim and Bailey Crosbie came with us on our drive from Avon to Clay Valley.
It was great to have them along.
We always talk about how much we wish the Nunn family were here.
Good times with good friends!
It was a beautiful day for a ride.

This is coming across Selman's.  This is the Sheepherder's camp.

These are some cows at Young's.  The spotted ones are some Bryan bought.  I teased him saying they were too ugly to put where anyone could see them!
He said they looked like dollar signs to him and they made $235.00 each so I quickly ate my words!

Alli's Quilt

So my sweet Allison finished her quilt!  I saw an idea from another ward that their leader gave them a block of fabric when they attended activities and church and then they learned how to put it all together so I thought I would give it a try with the four girls that I have in my Laurel class.  Alli is the first one to finish.
She is such a darling girl and I will miss her strength in class.  She is moving on the Young Single Adult Ward--go YSA!

Stuck!

I thought I was having a long day, and it was hot while I was moving pipe and spraying weeds, but this guy is having a really bad day!  He thought he could escape through the manger.  He was a bit wild so Alma put a rope around his neck before he got the cutting torch to cut the bar.  Good thing because he tried to take off once he was free!

Fathers Day 2013

My dear dad.  He is my hero.  He is so kind and gentle.  He doesn't speak harshly about anyone and he loves whatever anybody cooks for him.  I love him dearly!

Trampoline fun!

Madussa!

We had dinner at Allan and Diane's house.
It wasn't too hot and we enjoyed good food and family.

Isn't this little Charlie boy darling?!

Blacksmith Fork Bound

The time has come again to head the cows to the canyons for the summer
Horray!

Alma, Bryan and Allan are sorting cows from calves so we can load them separately on the Semi.

Miller Brothers hauled all four loads up and we hauled the bulls and a handful of calves in our trailer.  It is a good day to send them on their way.  I love the self feeding program!
