Built Upon the Rock

This is the start of the demolition of the old Paradise church.  The part they are tearing down now is the original built a hundred years ago and it is all rock.  The most shocking thing was they cut down most of the big trees around the church.  It looks pretty bare.  I hate to see the old one go, but I guess we are all in a process of improvment, right?

Reception in Cheyenne

Courtney's dress is gorgeous.  Simple and elegant.

Byron, Anissa, Courtney, Jackson, Bonnie, Bryan

They left the horse showing on the bench in honor of us.

I am afraid Sierra has been out-grown by everyone.

We had special guests come to Cheyenne from Nebraska.  We were so excited to see them!  The Dalton's drove "only 3 hours" they said, like 3 hours is no big deal!  It was the best part of the day.  Thanks Dan and Jessie!  We were so stunned, that this is the best picture we got of them!
 How embarrassing.
It was good to catch up on horses and everything else.

The "sisters"

I hope to get more pictures of the wedding in Utah, to post but I was a little side tracked that day to get any myself.  I will just say that it was an amazing day and everything went smoothly.
It was cool and sunny, the temple president sealed them beautifully, the luncheon at Elements was delicious, the flowers by Terry James were gorgeous, the Old Rock Church looked stunning, the Temptation cupcakes were delicious, and the Cold Stone ice cream was the highlight!
Thanks, family and friends for making our day great!

Sierra and Company

Kresha, Nicole, Rachel, Sierra, Amy, Shandee

I am lucky that Sierra had such great friends all through school.  They support each other and do lots of goofy stuff together and I am so glad that they are having fun and loving life!

Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point

 Sierra and Jeff

What a fun date!  They drove to Lehi to see all the tulips and gardens around Thanksgiving Point.  I think they saw more stars in each others eyes than tulips, but they did have pictures as proof.

Look Ma, No Braces!

Savanna got rid of her braces just in time for the wedding.  She was a little unsure of her new look and feel but I think she looks fabulous!

USU piano festival

The girls played the piano in the USU Piano Festival.  It is a great opportunity to be critiqued by a judge and to play on a 9 foot Steinway piano.  They both played very well.
Savanna played Tarantella by Pieczonka and Sierra played the Saint-Saens second Concerto in G minor Op. 22.  If you want to hear it go to Youtube and type in the composer and title and it will come up.  Pretend the girls are playing it and not some famous pianist.

Courtney's Bridal Shower

 Sherry and Shayla

 Opening gifts at Pam's

 Treats!

 Anissa and Courtney

 Anissa, Katie, Alisha, Courtney
We had a great time at the shower for Courtney!  Pam was kind enough to host it for her.  She got many nice gifts and we had great treats!  Jackson ask if she got wet or needed a towel.
